Cookie policy
What cookies and similar technologies we use, and how you can control them.
Last updated: 27 June 2026
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. We use cookies and similar technologies to make Cupped work, to keep it secure and to understand how it’s used. This page explains which ones we use and why. It sits alongside our Privacy policy.
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function and can’t be switched off. They include cookies that keep you signed in, remember the contents of your basket, secure your session and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. Payment cookies set by Stripe at checkout also fall into this category.
Functional
These remember choices you make — such as preferences set during checkout or the coffee quiz — so the site behaves the way you expect on your next visit.
Analytics
Where enabled, these help us understand which pages are visited and how the marketplace is performing, so we can improve it. We only use non-essential analytics cookies with your consent, and the data is used in aggregate.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set most browsers to block them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the site — such as signing in or checking out — from working. Where we use non-essential cookies, we’ll ask for your consent and you can withdraw it at any time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy as the site evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above.
